BACKSTORY: When Bret Baumgarten told his author/illustrator friend, Kathryn Otoshi, that he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, they decided to create a legacy book for his children, Noah and Sofie. Every day Bret would hold his children's hands in his and ask them, "What will your beautiful hands do today?" The handprints in the illustrations are comprised of over 100 family members and friends who gave their loving support of the book.
