The Missing Canary

When Billy Barnes is missing after school, Sandy and Tim put their investigative skills to work, locating the boy within an hour. Praise from the chief of police convinces them they are ready to open their own detective agency. Billy becomes their first client when his canary is stolen. When Sandy and Tim learn a horse has also been stolen from a nearby farm, they track the thieves to an abandoned gold mine, recovering a canary, horse and money stolen in a bank robbery five years before.
