Trosclair And the Alligator

Trosclair takes his dog Ollie by pirogue to Bee Island Swamp, where they find the best turtle eggs, although he has been warned that Gargantua, the rogue alligator, has moved there. When they discover a bee hive, they climb the tree to get the honey. From up there, to their horror, they discover Gargantua beneath them. The alligator tells Trosclair to toss down Ollie and then he will leave him alone. But the clever boy tricks Gargantua into asking for the beehive instead ...
