This book is part of Bears for Cares, a new book series and campaign founded by 19-year-old author Lotus Kay and her sister, Jazmin, on #EndangeredSpeciesDay as a project of Jane Goodall Institute’s, Roots & Shoots youth service program. Bears for Cares provides children’s books and stuffed animals themed with creating a more compassionate world. The campaign aims to educate children about the state of wildlife and our earth and what they can do to make a difference. Bears for Cares also donates a portion of its proceeds to the Jane Goodall Institute and her Roots & Shoots program. Jenny the Chimpanzee also features information and inspiring quotes from Dr. Jane Goodall in the pages at the back of the book.
The book is illustrated by artist Chey Diehl and printed by Eifrig Publishing in the USA on recycled, acid-free paper.
A portion of the proceeds from the book and the toy will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute and its Roots & Shoots program to help support other young people passionate about helping our wildlife and planet.
