The Giving Forest

It’s Grandma’s birthday, and Pickles the squirrel has big plans to make redwood cookies and salmonberry pie to celebrate. He and Grandpa set out through the majestic redwood forest to visit their friend Junior Park Ranger Bradley, and to collect the ingredients Pickles needs for baking.

Along the way, Pickles swings from the lofty branches of the redwoods, learns how trees talk to each other, and comes to understand the importance of bird poop and his own yearly ritual of burying acorns.
