The Goat That Ate the Remote

This is the tale of Gertie the goat and the children who love to play with her. Specifically, this is the tale of what happens when the children bring the ailing Gertie indoors while they watch TV, only for the TV channels to change abruptly and mysteriously over and over again. Why? How? The child reading (or being read) the story gets a kick out of being in on the solution to the mystery before the children in the story figure it out, and the adult reading the story to them gets a kick out of the clever and fun illustrations. (My favorite is Walter “Chromite” reading the news!)
