Wendy & DB and the Funn band are a dynamic duo/group from Chicago. Their music addresses important messages for children and adults about diversity and inclusion delivered in a positive and upbeat way! Wendy & DB’s melodic, interac- tive and contagious songs delight folks, newborn to one hundred and two!
Going Green with “HomeEarth”
Their newest album “HomeEarth” focuses on the environment, kicking-o with a planetary song, “HomeEarth” followed by tunes about bugs and bees, and plant- ing seeds. “Water Song” explores where our water comes from while “We Bop,” and “Hopscotch” get the kids moving. Miro, a puppet “Girl Superhero”, makes appearances at live shows while her song encourages girls and boys to nd their inner superhero and help Mother Nature in her plight for a cleaner world. Wendy & DB are committed to giving back, raising money and awareness for organiza- tions such as VH1 Save the Music, Xerces Society and Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots. They are especially proud of their work with McCracken Middle School in Skokie, IL and Sullivan Middle School in Chicago, collaborating with teachers and students to put on concerts that feature original Wendy & DB songs, with pro- ceeds bene ting abetterlifeforkids.org.
