In this 4th book of the Freeda the Frog™ Children's book, the frog family wins a pet fish named Goldie at a town Fair, and the fish gets sick and passes away. This book addresses children's feelings about how to deal with grieving when a pet or other beloved family member dies and is the follow up to the first three books in the book series, which each address other types of families or real-life issues for children.
This book has also received a Gold Mom's Choice Award and is the recipient of a Readers' Favorite 5-star review. All of the books have been leveled by the schools to align to National Educational standards.
The first book addresses divorce, the second book addresses blended families of all types, the third book addresses moving (to a new town or school) or any other major life change. Stay tuned for the 5th book in the series, addressing gay families (releasing June 2020), entitled "Freeda the Frog and the Two Mommas Next Door."
