Nuts About Reading-Online Reading Assessment and Reading Tutoring

Parents, do you know your child's reading ability level? Nuts About Reading is a free, downloadable, reading screen in English for parents and their children for grades 1 through 3. Instructions are provided for administering each section of the assessment. Sections are research backed for measuring reading success, to include phonemic awareness, phonics/decoding, sight words, word recognition in a reading passage, and comprehension. If concerned following the free version, a fee-based, full reading assessment and/or reading tutoring by Mrs. Cetone, a Reading Specialist, can be scheduled at kristin@buckaroobuckeye.com, subject heading: reading screen. All assessments/tutoring are in addition(supplemental) to the classroom to identify grade level reading ability and uses a video conference platform; one-on-one, face-to-face, in real time, from the safety of your home computer.
