Oyster kit

We are an international team of product designers, STEAM methodologists, and teachers. We believe that education can be more practical, creative and much more fun! That’s why we started Oyster – to provide innovative kits for children aged 5–9 that help them discover the world of STEAM-driven professions through fun!

With these kits, kids can discover 12 different STEAM professions every year, get to learn about real-world problems and challenges, and find out what it’s like to be a real doctor or scientist.

What is included in the subscription?

A new profession every month;
STEAM learning - hands-on fun STEAM activities delivered to your door;
Role-play elements and instruction cards to encourage exploration and imaginative play;
Online tests and projects to track what has been learned and encourage further exploration.

Year one professions include Doctor, Artist, Archaeologist/Palaeontologist, Scientist, Veterinarian, and more.

With the Doctor Kit, kids start to learn about the world of medicine, make more informed choices about a healthy lifestyle, and try out four different medical specialities.

Easy-to-follow instructions and fascinating facts about the human body;
Engaging projects and all the materials needed for those projects:
General medical practice and diagnosing a patient
Being a traumatologist and administering first aid
Working in a lab and conducting tests
Being a dentist and treating cavities
Doctor’s uniform and real-life tools
A doctor’s badge, white coat and gloves, working stethoscope, mouth mirror, tooth filling material, X-rays and lab equipment.


This kit will take kids on a unique journey through the world of modern medicine.
