Pari has never watched a superhero movie, but finds herself in a real struggle to survive a warzone every day. She manages to cope with her fears by reading her only storybook with its last pages missing and imagines various endings, revealing her a kinder and safer place. Her love of fables and her storybook are constant sources of comfort.
Pari’s worries are not just about herself, but also about her family and her little dog Saffron who all need to escape the harrowing dangers that are fast approaching them. When war threatens to engulf them completely, they realize that escaping is the only way out. As Pari and her family are forced to flee, she wonders whether time is on their side.
